PUSH II

What does it mean to really PUSH? I wrote a piece a few weeks ago about the PUSH, but God showed me there is more to share!

Christians have used the acronym P.U.S.H. (Pray Until Something Happens) for as long as I can remember. My question is what happens when God requires action? I came to a realization in an assessment of my life. I would pray for something, God would give me the step, and I would go back to praying about it. Prayer had become my escape from doing what I needed to do. Prayer was my pump fake when God wanted me to take the shot.

Have you been hiding from purpose and action because you are using prayer as a crutch? Selah

Don’t get me wrong, prayer is necessary, but so is action. We are instructed to live a life of prayer but you can not hide from action steps. Many of us don’t take action steps because we fear taking the first action step. We fear the risk of moving so we say “we are going to pray about it”. Then after a while we say “we are waiting for God to answer us” knowing God has already answered. MOVE! PUSH or PUSHING is an action word. Faith without works is dead!

I have come to a realization that I want to see people who dream actually see their dreams manifest. I have met a lot of dreamers. I am a dreamer. Selah

This past weekend I had the pleasure of meeting two phenomenal young adults. They had a vision, gave it to God, and saw the vision come to life. Right before their very eyes God showed them a completed work. Although it was nothing but God, the completed work came through their action, it came by way of their PUSH. What have you been PUSHing for? Don’t quit being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus (Philippians 1:6). God wants us to have completed tasks. Yes, there is a process, and some are longer than others but we have to PUSH through to the finish line.

Throughout the Bible, individuals who sought God were blessed. Think of the woman with the issues of blood. She PUSHed her way to just touch the hem of Jesus’ garment (Luke 8:43-48). Think of the men who carried their friend through the crowd and broke through a roof to be healed by Jesus (Mark 2:4-5). They PUSHed, by means of action, and because of their action they received reward.

THERE IS POWER IN THE PUSH BUT YOUR PUSH MUST ACTUALLY BE A PUSH! Selah

We must pursue all God has for our lives. Out with the old P.U.S.H. (Pray Until Something Happens) and in with a new P.U.S.H. (Power Unveiled Seeking Him). The more we PUSH the more Power God will Unveil to us. When we Seek Him, miraculous signs and wonders will follow. I want to know all God has for me. Life is truly a movie and the more I pursue Him the more the plot of my life is explained. It is AMAZING!

Be encouraged and don’t stop PUSHing! Remember there is POWER IN THE PUSH! Prayer is the preparation, faith is the action! He is ready and able to unveil the power He has for you, to you!
